11.23.2008: Xen Casa de Mandingo's: 2008 NAWBA Schutzhund Champion
The news is a few weeks old, but better late than never! Congratulations to Xen Casa de Mandingo's and handler Kari for becoming the newest NAWBA Schutzhund Champion. Carla and Kari drove down to Astatula, Florida for the week and met with old friends and bouvier handlers. It was a fun week of training and trialing. 05.31.2008: Successful Dutcheast Trial
In the first news we've had in months, Dutch East had an extremely successful trial last weekend, May 24-25. We had four new Bouvier titles:
Kaos Uma Casa de Mandingo's and Alan Fielding: BH
Casa de Mandingo's Billy Bob and Carla van Duyvenbode: BH
Renaissance's Outkast Aka Dre' and Carla van Duyvenbode: SchH2,
94/71/86, (251) "a"
Xen Casa de Mandingo's and Kari Heffner: SchH3,
92/92/91, (275) "a"
Everyone was so happy for Alan, who came all the way down from Canada to trial with us. His Kaos did really nice despite Alan's nerves! Kaos is a really great dog, and I was glad to see him get that title. Now on to the SchH1!
Carla also did great with both dogs. Billy is a really promising young dog - definitely look for her on the competition field in the future.

01.05.2008: Hermann Rollke Seminar
We are pleased to announce that Hermann Rollke is returning for another seminar at Dutch East this year. The all-bouvier seminar will be held on April 18-20, and will feature Schutzhund-style training, with a special emphasis on protection. Hermann has been to Dutch East for three previous bouvier seminars, each time bringing together a variety of bouvier owner/trainers from across the country.
